The rare self-titled album by the British band Stone Angel was heard by few people when it was first issued (as a private pressing) in the mid-'70s, though it found a wider (though still small and cult) audience when it was reissued on CD many years later. I found this album on CD in a small local record shop for close to no money at all and decided to pick it up without any prior experience of Stone Angel. I had seen them being mentioned as playing Acid Folk in the vein of Jan Dukes De Grey, Comus and Spirogyra, a style I'm not particularly fond of.

My favourite songs on this album are Stone Love and Stay For A While is just beautiful this song is just the business! I am extremly pleased that i bought this enchanting album/5(87).
